Longarm quilting and snippets of my life

We will be saying our final goodbye to our family pet and faithful companion, Tucker. His hips have been failing in his old age and he’s now not able to walk unassisted. We have an appointment to put him down tomorrow afternoon.

We adopted him 8 years ago. He was already an adult so we’re not sure his actual age, but he’s old. He was left abandoned, chained to a drug house in Portland. He was rescued by an older lady who just couldn’t handle his size, he was 110 lbs in his younger days, so we took him in. He is the sweetest dog, and he will be missed

Goodbye my dear friend.

Aw geeze Carie, my heart goes out to you. BTDT far too many times over the years and it never gets any easier. He was a lucky dogness to have you for a mum, and he’ll always be in your heart.

    Big hugs,

    Jorja

  10. Hugs to you, my dear friend. I thought Tucker was a love, and I know it was hard for you to let him go. How wonderful that he was rescued by you!
