Has it really been that long?

I don’t spend a lot of time on the computer, and I realize it’s been a long time since my last post. I’ve been enjoying the beautiful weather we’ve been having here in the NW corner of Oregon. This is our favorite place to stop and have lunch, my backyard.  Millie had a very fun time at the beach a few weekends ago.    Here she was helping her cousin Henry. They’re such a cute pair! It was a beautiful weekend at the coast and my older brother, Scott, joined us.  He stayed in my sister, Cindy’s, campsite. It was a fun time.

I have been doing some quilting. Nothing spectacular, but here’s some shots of a couple of recent quilts.  

Today is my birthday, and I’m trying not to let it get me down. I’m 47, it feels like a yucky number. I’ve never had any problem turning any age, but this one’s got me bugged. Cindy’s coming over and we’re going to get pedicures, and Jim and Robert are taking me out to dinner tonight. I’m making the best of it.
