Longarm quilting and snippets of my life

today's progress I got the design all stitched in and I’ve gotten about half way through with the tight background fill. Doing a tight fill allows the designs to pop and be the focal point. I chose an echoing swirl for the background because it’s easy and fast. This is turning out quite nice. The blue markings will wash out when I’m finished and you’ll only see the thread.echoing swirl backgroun fill I’ve got my guild meeting tonight, so I probably won’t work on it again until tomorrow. I’ll get it all stitched and I’ll wash the blue marking out, then I’ll have to block it to be sure it lays nice and flat and square, (at least that’s the plan).
