Longarm quilting and snippets of my life

I finished the Irish Chain quilt that’s been on my machine for a while. I had a few days off, due to the injury to my hands. The quilt turned out pretty, and the customer loved it, (that’s what really matters). So, here it is…. The back is a creamy Fairy Frost, I think the florescent lights made the picture turn out this weird color You can click on the pics to see them bigger.

I’m cruising on the second sock. Cindy will be over tomorrow to finish them help me with the next step.

The weather was nicer today, not hailing or raining, so Millie and I were finally able to take a decent walk. That felt really good. We should have more sunshine tomorrow. It will be hard to stay focused on work!

Enjoy your weekend, and Happy Mother’s Day to all you mothers out there!

Beautiful quilt & quilting. What did you use to swag your borders?? I like the way you did the corners also.

I used a swag template from Constantine Quilts (I guess now they’re called No Frills templates) for the borders and an oval template for the corner.
